HirePadi is an AI job search and application tracking platform built specifically for Nigerian professionals. We pull jobs from across the web, score each one against your CV, and give you the tools to apply with precision rather than just volume.

Why this exists

Nigeria produces roughly 1.7 million graduates every year. A 2025 analysis of over 200,000 graduate applications found that just 1% made it to an interview. That number is not a talent problem. It is an information problem.

Most people are applying the wrong way, to the wrong roles, with materials that were never designed for the role they are actually going for. They do not know what employers are seeing when they open their CV. They do not know which roles they are genuinely competitive for. They find out by waiting in silence.

The standard job search in Nigeria looks like this: open Jobberman, scroll for an hour, apply to ten things with the same CV from two years ago, then hear nothing. The roles that were actually a good fit, posted three days ago on a board you do not check, you never saw them.

HirePadi was built to fix that. Upload your CV once. We pull jobs from eight-plus sources including Adzuna, MyJobMag, Jooble, Reed, JSearch, Remotive, and Jobicy. Every job gets an AI match score out of 100 before you decide whether to apply. When you find something worth pursuing, we tailor your CV to it in under 90 seconds, generate a cover letter, and draft a LinkedIn message to the hiring team. Everything tracks in a pipeline. Your Gmail gets monitored for recruiter replies so nothing falls through.

Good versions of this product exist for the US and UK market. None of them were built for Nigeria. The job sources are different, the salary context is different, the ATS conventions at Nigerian banks and telcos are different. We built this one from scratch for how hiring actually works here.

Who built it

My name is Gbemi Jones Bakodie. I am a Growth Marketing Specialist with AI and full-stack development skills. I built HirePadi in 2026 because I kept watching talented Nigerian professionals miss out on roles, not because they were unqualified, but because the tools available to them were designed for a different market.

The platform has grown through word of mouth from job seekers who found it genuinely useful. No VC round, no press launch. People shared it because it worked for them.

What we believe

Nigerian talent is not the problem. The infrastructure around job search is. Most job seekers do not know where they stand against the roles they are applying to. They do not have time to tailor every application by hand. They have no visibility into what happens after they hit apply.

That information gap is fixable. The people who benefit most from fixing it are the ones the existing platforms have historically ignored.

We also think AI job search should tell the truth. A match score of 45 is as useful as a score of 90. It tells you something real about where you stand. We do not inflate scores. We would rather show you where the gaps are so you can close them than make the numbers look good and leave you wondering why the interviews are not coming.

What is next

We are expanding source coverage, improving match accuracy, and building features for Nigerian professionals applying to international remote roles. That segment is growing fast and it is underserved by tools that do not understand what international hiring managers need to see on a Nigerian candidate's application.
