About this role

This Staff Software Engineer role on Grafana Cloud's Databases SRE team focuses on keeping the multi-tenant SaaS databases behind Mimir, Loki, Tempo and Pyroscope reliable at scale across AWS, GCP and Azure, combining software development, automation, and direct changes to database codebases. The position suits a senior engineer who is comfortable both building software and operating production systems, with the judgment to decide when reliability work belongs in tooling versus core product code. Candidates must be based in the UK, Sweden, Spain or Germany, and the role is fully remote.
