About this role

This Staff Product Designer role at Medium is a remote position in the USA where the designer works across the full product development process, from ideation through launch, reporting to the Director of Product Design. The ideal candidate is someone with a deep passion for reading and writing who can shape product strategy, own high-impact design work, and collaborate closely with engineers to maintain a high quality bar. A standout requirement is the expectation that candidates bring strong visual design sensibility, attention to detail, and taste, rather than simply a record of shipping a lot of software.
