About this role

Veriff's Biometric Solutions team is hiring a remote Senior Software Engineer in Spain to design and scale real-time identity verification services, including facial recognition and liveness detection. The role centers on owning architecture for scalable, secure, event-driven systems, setting engineering standards, and mentoring other engineers while working closely with ML specialists and product teams. Ideal candidates have over five years of experience building large-scale applications, preferably in Python, with deep knowledge of distributed systems and SOLID design, and a standout requirement is a track record of architectural ownership.
