About this role

This role is a sales position within Canonical's Embedded Devices team, where the work centers on prospecting, developing strategic accounts, and carrying an annual bookings quota for Ubuntu, Ubuntu Core for IoT, and related open source software and services across the Americas. The ideal candidate is a self-driven seller with a technical background in embedded Linux or real-time operating systems, able to engage engineering-minded buyers in sectors such as consumer electronics, industrial equipment, automotive, and robotics. The position is remote-based, open to candidates in Latin America, Canada, and the United States, and requires an ability to work within a distributed team that meets in person a few times each year.
