Accountant

About this role

Responsibilities: Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and accounts. Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions. Reconcile bank statements and company accounts on a regular basis. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and financial planning activities. Monitor cash flow and ensure proper management of company funds. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies. Prepare and file statutory returns, including VAT, PAYE, WHT, and other regulatory requirements
