Discord's Violent Actors Team seeks a Threat Investigations Team Lead to manage and develop investigators and analysts who detect and disrupt violent and extremist networks, while also handling complex escalations and incident response as a hands-on player-coach. The ideal candidate is a US-based leader comfortable with ambiguous, high-risk casework who can build early-career staff's investigative skills and turn findings into actionable intelligence. The role reports to a Senior Manager, can be performed remotely, and offers an optional office location in San Francisco for Bay Area candidates.
