About this role

This contract role supports Mozilla's Firefox DOM Core team by writing and fixing tests for the Session History area of the Gecko browser engine, including Web Platform tests and mochitests, and shipping code fixes through upstream code review. The ideal candidate has substantial hands-on experience with a browser engine or browser test automation, strong JavaScript skills for automated testing, and working proficiency in C++ for debugging a large, mature codebase. A standout requirement is comfort working fully in the open, with public bug tracking, public code review, and upstream landing of changes.
