About this role

The Senior Software Engineer on Algolia's Search team designs and develops the distributed, cloud-based architecture behind NeuralSearch, which combines keyword and vector search to build indices of customer data and return query results. The role carries shared operational responsibility, including participation in an out-of-hours on-call rotation, and is based remotely in France with an optional Paris office. Ideal candidates have experience with complex distributed systems and take ownership of system quality and reliability while sharing their expertise with a largely remote team.
