Responsibilities: Hire, train and supervise production staff, including sorters, loaders, balers and equipment operators. Scale all purchased materials. Keep factory machinery in good working order. Supervise workers on the production floor. Draw up work schedules, assign tasks and coordinate production activities. Negotiate with suppliers and vendors to get cost-effective deals.
