This remote position involves analyzing Python code repositories, crafting engineering assessment questions that challenge AI coding agents, and refining evaluation rubrics to distinguish correct solutions from plausible incorrect ones. The ideal candidate has at least three years of production Python experience, can navigate and explain complex codebases, understands Python internals at a systems level, and writes clear English since their questions and rubrics become the actual product. A requirement that sets this apart is demonstrable fluency in advanced Python concepts including import machinery, descriptors, metaclasses, async event loops, and C-extension boundaries.
