About this role

This remote role at Reddit involves building and improving the web media player and the backend APIs that support video and audio playback, working across React, TypeScript, Go, and Python. The ideal candidate is a software engineer who can handle the full development cycle from design through launch, collaborate closely with product and design teams, and mentor junior engineers while balancing speed with quality. A standout requirement is the expectation to contribute to end-to-end fullstack work, spanning both front-end media UI components and the server-side APIs behind them.
